Legal Question in Employment Law in Pennsylvania

Quitting a job

Hi, I was told that I am one step from being fired at work. This position may not have been a good match from the start and as a result I have been experiencing a great deal of stress. Two months ago, that stress manifested itself in an outbreak of Shingles. My doctor at that time also expressed concern about my blood pressure. I have not quit because I have 4 kids. If I quit, can I collect unemployment in PA?

If there was an abnormal working environment or physical stimulus followed by your psycholigical response, you may have a straight Workers' Comp case. That would provide a better benefit regime than UC.

You should qualify for UC with the right lawyer.

Good Luck.
