Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Pennsylvania

Landlord Change Lease b/c of pet

I moved into a house 5/1/07 and prior I filled out an application where I stated I had a small pet. Now more than 3 months later the landlord wants to charge a 20$ a month fee and change the lease to include this fee. They stated the first lease I signed was a 'mock' lease. Can they do this?

A mock lease? If you and the landlord signed it its a valid lease.

Tell your landlord nice try but if both of you have signed it and you have been holding up your end then the lease is enforceable and can only be changed bu MUTUAL consent.

If you have any questions feel free to contact me. The initial consultation is free.
