Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Pennsylvania

privacy

my former landlord has sent us a letter stating that the whole family is no longer permitted on the premises or we will be charged with trespassing. she sent a letter out to 22 tenants living in our former complex and made them aware to call state police if they seen us. she told them before she told us and they have told other people in the town resulting in everyone knowing our business. what can we do?

Re: privacy

Stay off the property. If you are former tenants, who cares? If you have friends there, and you are not causing causing a problem, current tenants are entitled to have friends over, but if you have caused trouble before, particularly where the police were called, you should just stay off the property to avoid problems. It is pretty extreme for a landlord to do what this one did, so I suspect either they are 'nutty', or you have been the cause for problems in the past.
