Legal Question in Mediation in Pennsylvania

arbitration agreement in agreement with promissory note attached

I have a dispute in a stock purchase agreement. This agreement includes a clause to settle via mediation and arbitration. There is a promissory note addendum to the agreement that is unclear as to resolution under default. Do the terms to the master agreement to use med/arb flow into the addendum? Or can it be pursued in a court of law?

It depends if the terms of the master agreement indicate that they are intended to apply to any addenda, or if the addendum itself indicates that it is governed by the master.

I would strongly suggest you have a qualified attorney advise you, as you want to ensure that you proceed in the correct forum. If you'd like to discuss further, please do not hesitate to contact my office.
