Legal Question in Medical Malpractice in Pennsylvania

hi, ...If the result or expected outcome of a major surgical procedure is two years, why would the senate or whomever declare statue of limitations for 2 years...?? My doctor swore up and down , I was going to have quality of life, then the 2 years came and he proceeded to tell me then, '' I cannot help you any longer..the procedure was a Rare failure..Goodbye.''.I lost my whole entire life, it was repaced by agony,pain. lots of pain

losing my job, independence, confidence,specially looking in the mirror.... depression, social security .Whom would I contact to help, join or begin the process of revising some statue of limitation laws?

I'm sorry to hear about your situation. You should be aware there are a number of exceptions to the statute of limitations, including fraud, discovery of the negligence, and continuing conduct.

Some or all of these may apply to your situation. You should gather up all your documents, medical bills, etc and show them to an attorney immediately.

As for the statute itself, you can contact your state representative and senators.
