Driving without a permit

A 17 year old without a license barrows a friends car and gets into an accident and parents are not aware of this. Who is responcable the friend or the parents and who could be sued for damages?

It depends on many factors. Did the owner of the car give permission to the unlicensed driver to use it? If so, did the owner know the driver had no license? What does the insurance policy say about unlicensed drivers. Clearly, the unlicensed driver is responsible. Whether the owner and their insurance company are responsible depends on the circumstances.
