Private Citizen Civil Action

I would like to know the procedures for me to file a private citizen civil action in the state of Pennsylvania. Thanks

It depends. You can file a case in District Court (small claims court) by going to the District Court near you and filling out the forms. You can file a suit in the Court of Common Pleas by going to the courthouse in the county you live in. Either way you would be a "pro se" person who would have to follow the rules just like attorneys do. You have follow the guidelines in the PA Rules of Civil Procedure and are responsible for knowing them although the court will give "pro se" attorneys some leway.
