Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

my father has passed away when i was 14 and left all his things to me including some property. The extrix of the estate has not taken care of the property as promised and has money that my father has left for me when i turned 18. She has refused to answer my phone calls also failed to show up to the meetings with my lawyer to sign the deed over to me which she agreed to do so. What court order do i need to get someone to sign a deed that they refused to sign?

If you have a lawyer, s/he should be advising you about the actions you need to take. If the lawyer does not concentrate on estate and trust law, call the Bar Association in the County where you live or where your mother lived for a referral.

You are owed an accounting of your father's estate and what has happened to the property that should have been turned over to you when you reached the age of 18.

This response is not legal advice, since I do not have all of the information that would be required, and I do not have a representation agreement with you.

* If the answers to your question confirm that you have a valid issue or worthwhile claim, your next step should almost always be to establish a dialog with a lawyer who can provide specific advice to you. Contact a lawyer in your county or township.

* Another reason for contacting a lawyer is that it is often impossible to give a good answer in the Internet Q&A format without having more information. The unique circumstances of your situation and things that you may not have thought to mention in your question may completely change the answer. If you want to be sure that you have a complete answer to your question and an understanding of what that answer means, establish a connection with a lawyer who practices in the area of your concern.

You really should be discussing this with your lawyer. If you don't like the responses (or if you don't get a response), get a new lawyer who knows what they are doing.
