Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

Landlord- Tenant Dispute

On 9/27/01,I signed a lease, only, after the realtor affirmed, that all work had been corrected and completed on this rental property, when in essence it was not. This realtor lied to me, otherwise I would not have signed the lease. Also, code violations existed on this property, that I knew nothing about, at the time of the signing. In addition, I gave this real estate $2000 dollars for security and deposit, and two month rent. Can I get out from this lease, since I signed under false representations? And get my money back?

Re: Landlord- Tenant Dispute

Based on the information you provided it sounds like you may have some grounds for an early termination. I have alot of questions, first are you living in the rental property, if not did it get it rented to someone else. What type of code violations do they affectthe liveability of the property.

My firm is in the Pittsburgh area, if you are located in the western part fo the state please contact my office directly for a no fee initial consultation.
