if a person dies on a property, is an agent required by law to tell a prospective buyer?

Why should they? If its a notorious murder its probably public knowledge. If its because the last owner died due to natural causes and the estate is selling it it then you could figure it out.

I'm sure most houses that are over 100 years old may have been where somebody died.
