Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

Problem with neighbor

I bought my house in 1998 and built a fire pit in the back yard. In 2002 or 2003 someone bought the land next to my back yard. After he was there a year he planted pine trees around the edge of his property. Now he says he is going to take me to court because one of his trees next to my fire pit is starting to brown. He knew before planting the trees that the fire pit was there. Am I at fault? Please let me know. Thank You.

Re: Problem with neighbor

If your fire pit was there first the other side really doesn't have much of a case. If he sends any papers demanding removal or actually goes to court your should seek an attorney. I offer free consultations.

Re: Problem with neighbor

You have two options, the first is to tell your neighbor off and wind up in court and have to pay attorney and litigation fees, even though you probably will win, or sit down and talk it out with your neighbor.
