Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Pennsylvania

How do you remove a lien on property?

We recently had a commercial building go to Sheriffs sale. A bank which had put a lien on our home received what was owed to them out of the proceeds of the sale. The lien remains listed on our home. How do you go about having removed from our records?

You need to notify the bank to satisfy their lien.

They may have to comply with in a certain time period and they may be subject to financial penalties for failure to satisfy the lien.

Good luck to you.
