Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Pennsylvania

Will

My stepmother died without a will. My father is not sure how to proceed. They were married at the time of her death. They had been married for 19 years. She has personal assets, ie. cash that was in her name alone.

What happens now?

Re: Will

The distribution of your stepmother's assets will be determined by the state's intestate laws (assuming in this case Pennsylvania intestate law). Your family should be entitled to the assets determined by the specific distribution rules for the applicable state. Please feel free to contact me for further information.
