3 back surgery one work related Dr. sayslight duty maybe in future

Fall of 2002 our Co. sold to another Co. I started to get pain in the lower back . My lead said the new Co. might get rid of you do to the change over. Well anyway 12/12/02 I had my 1st back surgery, 3/20/03 I had a fusion l4/l5 . I was put on short Disiably, knew nothing about W/C. Returned back to light duty 8/04/03 Human resource asked if I could. I worked till 3/3/04 { light duty was a joke I work with compressed gas cyl} Full duty 3/5/04 3/10/04 I made a delevery. at a sight that reqired a crain, but the Co. did not want to fix it becouse $19.000. well the Co. I was at used a fork lift , when the lift pulled out the bank {12 cyl on a rack with wheels weight about 2300#} it crushed me against another bank causing server pain , drove back to work then went to ER. I needed a duble fusion L2/L3/L4/L5. WC has paid every thing so far But My case nurce from WC said I will return to light duty. I am only 5 weeks post up still in a lot of pain, same pain before surgery do you think I need a lawer in the future or now?? and should I talk with WC nurce??

Do you need a lawyer? I would certainly think so. My standard advise is that if you have a medical problem, see a doctor. If you have a legal problem, see a lawyer. You have a lot more going on than dealing with light duty. You have at least one potential settlement, future medical bills, physical rehabilitation, possible career rehabilitation, impairment/disability ratings, future medical expenses, etc. Yes, I think you need to consult with an attorney. from the sounds of it you are going to need an attorney. Generally, when things go smooth, there is no need for an attorney right away. However, it sounds like they are just fighting you and you need to take action. What conty do you reside in?
