employee layoff
I was out on short term disabiltiy for 2 months receiving a company benefit of 75% pay. I received a phone call a day after the dr. said I can't return for 3 more weeks. Can they do this?

I'm not sure what the question is. If the question is whether the employer may legally subject you to a layoff after receipt of insurance payments for a non-work related disability, I think the answer would be yes.
