Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Philippines

Written comment to the civil trial court?

My lawyer informed me the manager of the corporation that filed a complaint against me, resigned from the corporation, attributing to problems arising from the law suit, My lawyer says he will file a comment to the Court asking the managers answers on redirect examination be removed. From what I read in the Transcript, what was asked and answered was in my favor. Without the General Manager on the stand, we cannot ask pertinent questions that only he could answer. He was the person who filed the suit against us on behalf of the Corporation, and the only person within the Corporation having first hand knowledge of the information involved. I was under the assumption that if by chance we was awarded this lawsuit, the President, General Manager, Officer or Officers could be held liable as well as the Corporation.

What does the letter of Comment amount too?

Any other alternative suggestions?
