Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Philippines
we had a land owned by rights with my father, were the legal family but the third family stays there for longest time, now were asking for a protion of land but they are not allowing us to build...do they have the riht not to allow us to have some portion? who has the more right to take charge onthe said land...the true owner of the land was not seen anymore since i was born (im 60 years old now)..thank you

Unless the subject land has been paid by your father prior to his death then you have the right on the subject property. Neither the third family has a right on the subject property. File a case in the barangay against the occupants so that you can have at least a portion of it.
