Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Philippines

we hav ben occupying the land for more almost 30years but my auntie is claiming the land for she said it is an extension to her land but during the time the house was built.she dont take ownership for that yet.now,she wanted to claim it..do we have legal claims on the land?we dont see the papers that wil prove of her ownership and if its proven,can we stil go for claim knowing we ben there for so long years..HELP!!!!

You did not state if the property is a government property or a private land.If it is a government property it is a part of public domain and cannot be acquired even by long period of possession. But if it is a private property then prescription will set in.
