If you are in Puerto Rico you can file for a protective order under the Domestic Violence Law, Law 54, august 15, 1989, 8 LPRA 601. You need to request a temporary restraining order to have him taken out of your home and to impede him from bothering you at work, home etc... You may obtain additional information on the judicial resources available to request expedite protection orders in Puerto Rico at http://www.tribunalpr.org/servicios/proteccion.html. You may find additional information on http://www.mujersanjuan.com/violencia.html; there is also a phone number 787-282-6868. You must act quickly, the domestic violence situations tend to degenerate very quickly into what has been called a violence spiral.
