Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Puerto Rico

House Question

My husband and his brother and sister represent their mothers portion (she is currently deceased)of a house in PR which was left to her and her 4 siblings. The 4 siblings want to sell the house and need the approval from my husband and his two siblings. My question is, does it have to be from all three of them or can just my husband give the okay to have the house sold?

Re: House Question

Your husband's "approval" can only be on account of HIS share or interest in the premises.

Your husband cannot agree, approve, or not, for or on account of his siblings without their authorization. Which authorization should probably be written, witnessed and notarized.

Good luck,
