Tenant is suing me for a slip and fall in the stairwell.

Not sure what the question is, but if you have insurance, you should give any summons and complaint that may have been served on you to your insurance company FAST - and I would suggest asking for some written acknowledgement of receipt from your insurance company so it does not later claim not to have received the documents from you.

If you do not file an answer within 20 days from the date of service, you will automatically lose by default. If you do not have insurance, you need to get to a lawyer even faster!
