Legal Question in Family Law in Rhode Island

A battle for costudy with a rogue

I have a 10 month old daughter in RI. She lives with her mother, who is almost home less because of her atitude. She steels from everybody that she had ever stayed with and she don't work at all. As for me I work and go to school. I have a place to live and I can provide the things me baby needs. More over I don't want my baby growing with a mother that that kind of ways. I guess my question is how do I nees to start to file for costudy ASAP. THANKS

Re: A battle for costudy with a rogue

In order to file for a change in custody/ physical placement you need to establish that it is in the best interest of the child to live with you and that there is a substantial change in circumstances. Based on whats stated in the email it sounds like you have compelling circumstances to request a change of physical placement of the child. Please call me to set up a free initial consult.
