Is there a formula to determine how much a Rhode Island Personal injury / Auto Accident case is worth?

There is no formula in Rhode Island to determine the settlement value of a Personal Injury or Slip and Fall claim. In order to determine the value of a Rhode Island Personal Injury / Automobile Accident case, the attorneys must look at a combination of factors, including lost wages, pain and suffering, permanency of the injury, any scarring or disfigurement, loss of consortium, periods of disability, etc. The amount of insurance coverage could also be an important factor.

Determining the value of an accident case is an art rather than a science. The amount of the medical bills will be one important factor in determining the value of the case.

Please consult with your RI Personal Injury Lawyer / Attorney concerning how he calculated the settlment demand.
