Re: bankruptcy

The decision of which chapter bankruptcy to file is complicated, and really needs to be reached only after consultation with an experienced bankruptcy attorney. Either chapter could, potentially, allow you to retain personal property, as only nonexempt property is subject to liquidation in Chapter 7. For more information, you can take a look at my website, http://www.schelinlaw.com/19.html, and the FAQ I've put up there.
