Rent Payment

My roomate's check for the rent bounced. I am the only one on the lease because she is only 18. The landlord wants me to pay the rent that her check was suppose to pay. Shouldn't he go after her, since it is her check that bounced?

Whose name is on the lease? That's the person responsible for the rent.
