Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

Cancelling a prenuptial agreement

What is the simplest and least expensive way to cancel a very short and simple prenup. My wife and I now live in SC but lived in NC at the time the prenup was written.

Re: Cancelling a prenuptial agreement

You can execute a post-nuptial agreement that provides that the pre-nuptial agreement is rescinded.

These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.
