Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

divorce

I would like to know what paper work I would need, for a non contested divorce with no separation of assets. I have been separated for three years, we have bought land, and we have no children . We were living together for five years before separating. Also she has never had a job to help pay for any assets that we have incurred

during are marriage, and we live in SC. If you could help me with my situation I would be very pleased. Again thank you for your help.

Re: divorce

The divorce case will need to address the assets and debts. If you have an agreement, then the divorce can incorporate the agreement. If you do not, then the Court can determine those issues if you cannot agree.

These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.

If you need more information, you can visit my family law blog (www.SCFamilyLaw.com) or our website (www.StevensFirm.com). I wish you the best of luck.
