Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

Dss

When my son was born his mother made statements that caused Dss to take my son. I made no such statements and want my son. I live in SC (where my son is in foster care)his mother is in Ohio and wants nothing to do with him. Dss refuses to give me my son. First it was my home was not up to par. Took care of that, home passed inspection. Now, They want me to take a mental health exam. Also, go to parenting classes. I have joint custody of my 2 daughters from my marriage. I was never married to my son's mother. It seems they keep coming up with a reason not to give me my son.

Re: Dss

It is not uncommon for DSS to keep making reasons to keep your child from you, only to later claim that the child has been in foster care too long and attempt to have someone of their choosing adopt the child.

You need to hire an aggressive attorney who has significant experiene in dealing with DSS and their shenanigans. We handle a great many DSS cases, and I'll be glad to talk with you to explain the process involved.

You can also visit my family law blog (www.SCFamilyLaw.com) to read several articles there about DSS and their tactics. My contact information is located at our website (www.StevensFirm.com). I wish you the best of luck.
