Is it illegal to be seperated from your spouse for a year and decide to file together and then turn around 3 months later to file for divorce?

If you and your spouse have been separated for a year you can file for divorce now. You do not need to wait for 3 months. You must have remained separate and apart from one another for at least one year without living under the same roof and without reconciling your marriage for even one day during the year. If you meet that requirement and you have a witness that is able to testify that you have been separated you can file for a divorce now. Good luck.
