Legal Question in Family Law in South Carolina

My son is almost 17, and his father has custody. He is not getting along with him or his step mother. He would live with me, but I don't live in town and he doesn't want to transfer to another school. He wants to live with my mother who lives in the same town until he graduates. Is that possible?

It is possible, but not a guaranteed result unless everyone agrees.

These are complex issues, and it is important that they be handled correctly. Therefore, it is important that you consult an experienced family law attorney to find out what options are available to you based on the facts of your particular case.

If you need more information, you can visit my family law blog (www.SCFamilyLaw.com) or our website (www.StevensFirm.com). I wish you the best of luck.
