Legal Question in Medical Leave in South Carolina

FMLA for a son

Is there a cutoff age to which a person would not be entitle to FMLA to care for a child. My son is 19 years of age.

There is no age requirement, but once the child becomes an adult, you have to show that no one else is able to care for the adult child. You may want to check out the DOL website, www.dol.gov to determine what additional requirements you would have to meet.
