Legal Question in Traffic Law in South Carolina

car purchase

I purchased a car for my then fiance in 2007. We have now gone our separate ways, I told him he could keep the car as long as he maintained insurance and kept up with all the car payments. He has missed two payments and I want to have the car repossessed he will not bring me the car for whatever reason. I am trying to figure how I should go about getting the car back in my possession so I can start the repossession paperwork?

Re: car purchase

I'm sorry, but I'm afraid that you have not given enough information here. You have not said if who's name the title is in, who took out the loan, if there is any written agreements between you and your old boyfriend, or exactly what any oral agreements were and any possible evidence or proof. Legal matters require details and its just hard to advise you without knowing more. You may want to contact an attorney who can ask you questions so that he/she is in a better position to advise you.
