money owed me by a computer co.
gateway computer co.sent me equip.i did not order.it was all returned,i can prove it,but they refused to refund all of my money,$425.31 to be exact.this has been going on sincesept. of 2004.

A friend and client recently sued Toshiba because of a defectively laptop and they agreed to replace it. I think you will find that Gateway would rather settle than go to court, so I would file a small claims action righ away.

You could file a small claims action immediately, but that involves paying a filing fee, and getting Toshiba served.
Something that I found workable in a similar case was to write the Better Business Bureau and the State Attorney General of whichever state Toshiba is located in. If that doesn't produce good results in 2-3 weeks, then file suit.
