Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Tennessee

Dischargeable debts

I recently file for bankruptcy and was awarded a discharge. The letter I received did not state what was discharge, just discharge. I received no monthy statements from credit cards, or car note. Just a mortage statement that says(This is not an attempt to collect, please disregard the payment information if it conflicts with the court) Do I still attempt to pay my car note, if I can find out where to send payment? and what about my house note, do I still pay it after a discharge? I don't have an automated account with them, and they want call me back? Will I loose my car and house if I don't do something to contact them after my discharge? I am scared with my 4 kids. I need advise quick. My financial suitation is the same before I filed.

Re: Dischargeable debts

You must continue to make your house payment and car payment because these are secured debts. If payments are not made the creditor will have the ability to repo or foreclose. Please feel free to call me personally if you have further questions. ph. (800) 303-0720
