I have an EIN for my new business that i am starting but what i really wanted was to form an LLC from the beginning. But the funding was not there for that. Now seeing once the funding comes in and things pick up, will i need to change to protect my presonal belongings. will i need to get another EIN once i move from sole ownership to an LCC. And will it be best to have an lawyer handle all the paper work as well as an CPA.
Any franchise attorney will say you need a separate EIN for any entity you operate. It's a good idea to have an attorney handle your LLC paperwork so all the agreements are done properly, given your personal situation. Consult with a good business or franchise attorney in your area for specific advice.
