Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Tennessee
telephone harrassment
my son-in-law bought a used vehicle and quit paying for it and hasn't returned it. The company he bought it from keeps calling me at all hours of the day and night and has called everyone with our same last name out of the phone book telling them of the situation. is there anything I can do to stop this? We are in no way responsible for this automobile.

I would look up your rights under the fair debt collection act. There is plenty of information on the internet. You may find a lawyer to represent you if they violate the act but we don't do that work. good luck
