billed for federal funds returned

Itt TECH billed my son for fed funds they had to return to the gov because he dropped out of the school.

My son not physically keep up the daily work / school shedule and after 9 months became exhaused, depressed and had to drop out of ITT TECH.

ITT TECH is not accredited and GI army funds would not pay. still owes over $4,000. Over $2,000 of it is because ITT TECH said that they had to send that much back to the fed gov because he dropped out. threating to garn his wages, ruin his credit

If the school is not accredited, you may have a defense on the grounds of fraud.

I suggest you see a lawyer for help with this. If you cannot afford a lawyer, go to your local legal aid society. Most bar associations also have panels of lawyers willing to work for reduced fees.

You might also check the local better business bureous, to file a complaint - and to see whether other compalints were filed against the school.

Check the state department of education, too.
