Real estate lien

A real estate lien was filed by creditor pursuant to a non-dischargeable debt under a bankruptcy preceeding. Is there a time limit on the lien, and can it be renewed indefinetly. The bankruptcy and lien were filed in 1990.

Liens on real estate are good for ten years in Tennessee. If the lien is not renewed before the passage of ten years time, the lien is no longer good.
