Legal Question in Family Law in Tennessee

Child Support Enforcement

Family of 5 moves to TX from GA. After 1 year he asked for divorce. It was filed and granted in TX. He shortly moved to Mississippi with new family. Mother has custody of children. She soon moves to TN where she now lives. Child support funds has been paid as agreed. Sporatic at best. Divorce degree not upheld (401K). Was married 10 years. Husband has professional job with great income.

How can I insure that he pays child support. He is NOT self employed. TN Child Support has not been helpful.

Re: Child Support Enforcement

You can always hire your own attorney, but the attorney you really need in a case like this is an attorney where the ex now lives. You might also try to bypass the TN child support enforcement folks and go to where he now lives to speak directly to the corresponding office there. They will help.
