Legal Question in Family Law in Tennessee

Emergency Support From Husband of 30 Years.

I have been married for 30 years and plan to file for divorce. He has never provided for me. We live with his mother and I take care of his mother and invalid sister and he also expects me to work full-time. I haven't been, so he says he will no longer pay my bills of which he only pays one, but it is for medication that I need. I want a divorce, but I don't have money to leave. I supported him for 20 years and now he is cutting me off without a cent. What can I do? He threatens me every week that he won't pay for my medication the next time.

Re: Emergency Support From Husband of 30 Years.

You really have not provided enough information. Your situation is unfortunate, but if he does not make very much money and if you don't work, I am not sure if there is a good solution. I will be glad to speak with you about your options if you would like to contact me.
