Legal Question in Family Law in Tennessee

Medical = dental ?

I am curious in the divorce decree it states that the other party is responsible for Medical insurance. They claim now that dental insurance is not a part of medical and are saying that they are going to charge me back for several years of dental insurance coverage that they have paid. Can they do this ? Am I required to pay ?

Is dental insurance not a part of medical insurance ?

Re: Medical = dental ?

IN MOST IF NOT ALL COURTS IN TN, "DENTAL INSURANCE" IS NOT A PART OF "MEDICAL INSURANCE". "DENTAL" AND "ORTHODONTIC INSURANCE" IS CONSIDERED SEPARATE AND SHOULD SPECIFICALLY BE MENTIONED IN THRE DIVORCE DECREE. IF IT'S NOT MENTIONED, THE OTHER PARTY IS UNDER NO LEGAL OBLIGATION TO PAY IT.
