Visitation Rights

My Daughter is the custodial parent here.The child is 3 yrs.old.His father has no visitation rights in writing by the courts.His father pays child support.She will only let him,his other grandmother,and me see him when she wants to.I know his father has to have some kind of rights. I am willing to take my daugther to court to see my grandson. we all love him, and he loves us.His parents were never married.My daughter is 19 yrs.old.She lived with me when she had him.She moved out a week before her 18th birthday.He was 1yr&8mths old when she moved out.She has problems, and a very controlling boyfriend now.They live together.There is no talking this out, we have tried.What can we do?Please help!All we what is to see him and love him.

YOU NEED TO FILE A PETITION FOR VISITATION IN THE JUVENILE COURT OF THE COUNTY YOU LIVE IN. YOU MAY EVEN WANT TO SEEK CUSTODY IF YOU SUSPECT THE CHILD IS NOT BEING TAKEN CARE OF. MOST JUVENILE Court Clerks CAN OFFER YOU ASSISTANCE WITH FILING SUCH A PETITION. AT LEAST GO AND TALK TO THE CLERK AND SEE WHAT OTHER OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE.
