Citizenship

My wife is from Kosovo and she came to the US on a K1 visa we married and filed for her change of status but that was in 03 in 04 we went back to kosovo for me to work for US gov't. Her petition was abandoned because we could not get her back in Oct. 05. We got another visa in june 06 then Green card we want to go back to kosovo for me to work again how can we file for her citizenship.

The date of initial admission as a conditional resident is the starting point in calculating when the noncitizen is eligible to naturalize. Thus, if your conditional resident card was issued in June 2006, your wife would be eligible three years from June 2006. Notably, there must not be a break in physical residence in the USA of more than six months to fulfill the residency requirement for becoming naturalized.
