Legal Question in Personal Injury in Tennessee

This is a hypothetical question. Lets say an individual has been living with an alcoholic spouse for quite sometime and this situation has resulted in stress, turmoil, and nothing short of mental anguish. Let's also propose that the sober spouse would have walked away from the alcoholic spouse if it were not for financial dependency. Let us also assume that the sober spouse developed a debilitating chronic illness caused by the stress of living with an alcoholic. Consequently, this spouse is unable to work and therefore trapped in a toxic situation. With all that being said, would it be possible for the sober spouse to bring a personal damage or product liability lawsuit against the manufacturer of the alcoholic's beverage of choice and perhaps even the alcoholic him or herself.
