Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Tennessee

Father passed away and house was took from us.

My father and mother had purchased a home together, they got a divoce a few years later , my father got the house in the divorce 45 days after there divorce was final my father passed away so my mother moved back in the house with us children. After a couple of months living in the house my mother decided to sell it. When my mother put the house on the market the woman that they had purchased the home from (that woman financed it for them not sure what that is called) came in and made us move, she told my mother that since my father got the house in the divorce that my mother had no legal right to the house and that we were minors so we had no right to it. Also sold it to the same man that my mother was selling the house to. The house sold for $45,000.00 more than what they had orignaly gave for the house and that woman kept the money and we got nothing. I was a minor at that time now I have turned 18 I would like to take legal action if possible and also what would my Statue of limitations be?

I would need to take a look at the contract to purchase the house that your father and mother originally signed. Also, how long ago did all of this take place?
