Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Tennessee

I have a tree on my property near the property line.. there are limbs that have grown over into the neighbors yard.... one of these branches are starting to break... so my question is who is responsible to cut this limb down?

As the owner of the property where the tree is growing, you have the legal responsibility to trim the tree limbs so as not to cause any damage to your neighbor's property. If damage to your neighbor's property is caused by this tree, then your neighbor will have a claim against you.
