Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Tennessee

woman accussed of sexual harrassment

several male coworkers have claimed to my boss that I have behaved inappropriate around them, (they are always inappropriate) and I believe it is out of spite and to get me fired. I am young and attractive, but I would not consider any of my behavior out of line. What should I do to protect myself...

Re: woman accussed of sexual harrassment

Typically, it is difficult to defend yourself against a harassment claim. The first thing you should do is consult with an attorney to go over the details of your situation. This will help you to put your case into factual order and to help you understand the law that applies to these sorts of claims. The next thing you should do is make a writing of all of the comments and/or actions by both you and the other coworkers that could even possibly be deemed to be inappropriate. Finally, if you do nothing else, be totally and completely candid with your employer. Nothing will serve you better than be completely honest.
