Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Tennessee

Is 1991 will gooc or revoked by excuting will for others.

Father had will drafted in 1991 with revoking statement. will properly excuted. Only a copy can be found with changes noted to be made. Made changes to 91 in hand codicil in 97. written by someone else but he signed. Used info of 91 to specify what change. Made third will 98. This will typed with changes of 97 codicil. Has revoking statement. Carried will to friends to sign as witnesses of sig and statements on will. He died 1999. In checking with witness of 98 will all not together when they signed or saw him sign. codicil void not handwriting. Is 91 will revoked or in good standing according to tn. law

If the 1997 codicil was not properly witnessed, it sounds like from the facts presented that the 1991 will was the last properly executed will, and should control. This also assumes the witnessess of the 1998 will can testify about the improper acknowledgement. Please contact my office if you have further questions.
