Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Tennessee

father had no will

My father passed away recently. He didn't have a will. Well, my step-mother made sure everything was fixed to where she would get it when he died. My aunts house was willed to my dad when she passed away. When it was probated, my step-mother talked my dad into putting into his & her name. Ok, heres my question. Since there wasn't a will are we entitled to my dads part on my aunts house. My aunt would be so upset if she knew my step-mother had anything to do with her house. My step-mother is not a well liked person by anyone & we just want what we are entitled to. As far as my dads house he did a quit-claim putting our name on the deed & gave her a lifetime dowery to it. I'm sure she'll try to find some way to detest that. Any help will be appreciated. Thank you
