Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Tennessee
Writing a will
I am now living in Tennessee but came here from Pennsylvania . My attorney is back in Pennsylvania and I still use him . Is there any difference in the local laws that he and I should be aware of regarding his preparing a will for me now that I am living in Tennessee ?

Pennsylvania and Tennessee are both common
law states (as opposed to civil law in some
states, most notably Louisiana) so there would
probably not be any difference in the preparation
of a Will by a Pennsylvania lawyer versus the preparation of a Will by a Tennessee lawyer. But if you are living now in Tennessee, it would be my suggestion to use a Tennessee lawyer to prepare your Will.
